Data deletion

You can remove posts, disconnect platforms or delete the complete Castlune workspace associated with your sign-in.

Effective and last updated: September 13, 2026

Delete a post and its upload

Open Posts in the Castlune app, choose Delete and confirm. When the app reports success, the post and its delivery records have been removed. An uploaded file is also removed when no other Castlune post in your workspace uses it. Content already published at a destination is not removed.

Disconnect a platform

Open Accounts and choose Disconnect for the relevant platform. Castlune removes the locally stored credential and requests provider revocation where the provider supports it. For TikTok, disconnecting removes the encrypted access credential used for creator information, publishing and status checks; you may also remove Castlune from TikTok's connected-app settings. If provider revocation cannot be confirmed, Castlune identifies the manual step in the app. For Telegram, remove the bot from the channel or regenerate its token through BotFather.

Delete the complete Castlune workspace

Open Settings → Security → Delete account and confirm. When the app reports success, this removes Castlune sessions and internal identity links, connected credentials, posts, delivery and publishing-request records, OAuth connection states, legal acceptance records and uploaded files associated with your Castlune user identifier. If file removal cannot complete, deletion stops and the app asks you to retry rather than reporting completion. It does not delete your Google account or email account.

Remove the remaining authentication record

If you used Google or email sign-in, a minimal technical authentication record may remain in Castlune's Supabase Auth project after the workspace is deleted. To remove it, email 8686222@gmail.com from the same address used to sign in, or use the contact page and write “Authentication record deletion” in the first line. After verification, the request will be processed without undue delay, ordinarily within 30 days. If you used Google sign-in, you may also revoke Castlune in your Google account settings.

Request help or deletion without app access

If you cannot access the app, email 8686222@gmail.com or use the contact page and start the message with “Data deletion request.” Submit the same email used to sign in so the request can be verified. Support messages connected to the verified email may also be deleted unless limited retention is required for security or law.

Published content remains at its destination

Deleting Castlune data does not automatically remove a post already published on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X or Telegram. Delete that content on the destination platform. Following a verified request or revocation, related YouTube Authorized Data held by Castlune is deleted as soon as reasonably possible and within seven calendar days.

Timing and limited exceptions

In-app deletion begins immediately. Provider revocation may require a separate manual step, which Castlune identifies after local deletion. Short-lived backups and legally required security records may take additional time. Castlune keeps only the limited information reasonably necessary to document a valid request, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute or comply with law.
